Sophisticated Specialty Care
The new outpatient specialty care physician’s office in West Berlin, NJ is the first site for the former Kennedy Health Alliance group branded under Jefferson Health. This project merged the two system’s brands into one hospitality-centered space that is bright, airy and sophisticated. The approximately 6,800 sq.ft. one story site includes 8 exam rooms, 2 specialty treatment rooms, and a dedicated Lab and Blood Draw.
Exam rooms feature articulating wall-mounted computer stations that foster eye contact between patients and physicians during dictation. In addition, a sound system was utilized throughout to enhance the patient and visitor experience, while creating a reduction in noise and privacy concerns. Nurse stations were kept simple with modern finishes, and DCC worked directly with the care team to correct size storage requirements. This minimized walls of cabinets that are underutilized, and allowed the team to integrate areas for artwork opportunities, creating a holistic healing environment.
